We generally wake up about 4:30 in the morning & this morning I just didn’t feel like getting out of bed and felt even less excited about exercising. I didn’t sleep well and I had a sore throat but . . . . I’ve been practicing yoga a couple of times a week for about 18 months because it really helps me but this morning I even wanted to opt out from that. I did, however, roll out my mat & chose a stretching / meditative practice. So glad I did. It didn’t take long & I started to loosen up and I just felt better. Pretty soon I’m good to go.
A couple of things I considered. If I should do something to take care of myself and I don’t I am letting myself down and second, not doing what I know I should early in the morning gets me off on the wrong foot for the day. I need to start out with a success. It changes my day.
